The perimeter of our hair is the weakest part. Unfortunately, a lot of us abuse it, in the result, they thin and go MIA. Today I want to talk about being nice to your precious hairline. These simple tips will ensure your roof doesn't go missing.
The Super tight slick ponytail
The super slick tight pony is one of my personal guilty pleasures. But I noticed one day my hair was starting to thin my hairline. I was packing too much product in my hair to slick back my unruly hair. Your hairline has the finest hair on your head. Which means it is easier to damage this hair.
Improperly taking out hair extensions
Hair extension can be a great protective style but if they are improperly installed or uninstall they also can severely damaging. So just save some time and potential hair and let a professional deal with it.
Friction For Materials
Winter is approaching and we tend to wear beanies and scarfs. The problem is that those accessories are usually made of cotton or wool. These fabrics cause friction/dryness against the hair shaft and can cause breakage.
Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to support a healthy hairline; invest in a satin pillowcase, oil your hairline with my favorite hair growth oil, wear loose comfortable hairstyles and lastly be conscious of the fabrics you allow to rub against your hairline.
